The Role:

Asset management company looking for Foreign Subsidiary and Consolidation Senior Accountant.

Job  Description:

  • This role will be responsible for all accounting and operational functions for 10+ foreign/US subsidiaries including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations with the global parent. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for all aspects of accounting/booking monthly financial results into the Firm’s global general ledger and identification of US GAAP to local foreign GAAP reporting differences and adjustments.
  • Responsible for the oversight of local third party administrative service providers and their reporting and well as management of third party vendors etc.
  • Responsible for certain aspects of operational functions as it relates to foreign subsidiaries including coordination of monthly cashflow fundings and liquidity management, expense processing and bank reconciliations.
  • Responsible for coordination and oversight of foreign local financial and tax compliance reporting requirements including annual audits conducted under local GAAP, local tax/statutory filings and local regulatory reporting.
  • Responsible for the global consolidation of all US/ foreign subsidiaries including foreign currency translations, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations with the global parent.
  • This role will play a role in the Firm’s annual global budgeting and reforecast process
  • This role will play a role in the implementation of a new general ledger and budget/reporting solution as well as improvement of processes/workflows within the team.

Required Skills:

  • 4-7 years experience
  • Public accounting experience required
  • CPA required with strong technical accounting background/knowledge
  • Candidate needs to be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Candidate needs to have outgoing personality with strong communication and comfortable to interact with senior members of the organization
  • Candidate needs to be hard working and proactive to identify process improvements to promote efficiency.
  • Candidate needs to be detail oriented and willing to roll up their sleeves to investigate/resolve issues.
