Forensic Auditor

The Role:

An alternative asset management company with over $330 billion in AUM is seeking to hire a Forensic Auditor for their corporate audit services division.

JobĀ  Description:

  • Gathering and preparing information of reported allegations for the Committee’s reporting
  • Helping on follow-up on the results of investigations handled by management
  • Assisting on the hotline management (access severity and classification of allegation, propose follow-up questions to whistle-blower, update allegation information on the hotline system, escalate the allegation as required)
  • Helping on the improvement initiatives
  • Providing information to Risk Management Group
  • Annual testing of the hotline
  • Performing audits as required
  • Using data analytics strategies and techniques to track and create dashboards of volume of allegations and streamline the gathering reporting procedures

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 2-6 years of related work experience in public accounting or forensic firm
  • Proficiency in full suite of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the auditing practices, procedures and principles
  • Experience working in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Excellent judgement and discretion to handle confidential information
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
  • Effective written and communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with investigations and anti-bribery and corruption audits
  • CPA and CFE certifications preferred
  • Capable or working as a member of a team
