Project Manager



$175,000 - $225,000 plus Bonus

The Role:

A leading global alternative asset management firm with over $100 billion in assets under management is seeking a Project Manager.

JobĀ  Description:

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders (internal clients) to define solutions through changes in operating model – people, processes or technology solutions (critical and strategic thinking required)
  • Identify opportunities to improve cross functional processes and operations, and as needed work with technology teams to architect and implement the solutions to fulfill business needs
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, project costs and track project performance and report to stakeholders/management/senior leaders
  • Manage relationships/ align expectations with all stakeholders, and third party vendors
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Develop workflows, process maps and other project deliverables to support business process changes
  • Delegate project tasks to teams/individuals based on members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels and provide guidance to ensure project progress is on track
  • Manage scope, resource allocation, budget, timelines and change management
  • Provide analysis, recommendations, consultation on all projects

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Project Management/ delivery in the financial services industry
  • Experience working with senior business leaders and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications

Desired Skills:


  • Experience with a management consulting firm or delivery role in financial services
  • Successfully led technology and business strategy for complex projects from planning to post implementation
  • Knowledge of MS Visio
