C++ Developer – Real-Time/Feed Handler, Market Data

Responsibilities:

  • Work with a high-caliber team on multi-asset feed handlers integrated with the systematic strategies platform, covering all global markets
  • Own assigned projects, including liaising with the business to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver completed systems to production
  • Troubleshoot, logically assess, and fix bugs
  • Learn about products, the systematic strategies platform, back-testing, domain fundamentals and derived pricing
  • Understand the data being delivered, its uses and applications
  • Partner with users to understand their requirements and interactions with the data platform to ensure quality end-product and smooth day-to-day operation
  • Hybrid work environment, but office presence preferred

Qualifications:
 

  • Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
  • 4+ years development experience
  • Thorough knowledge of C++, system internals and fundamentals
  • Thorough knowledge of memory management foundations, threading, core alignment, call cycles, and NUMA nodes
  • Good knowledge of feed handlers, multi-cast publications, symbol segmentation, A/B arbitration is a big plus
  • Domain knowledge of Equities or FX or Commodities is a big plus
  • Knowledge of KDB or in-memory databases and related concerns is a plus
  • Knowledge Algorithms and event fundamentals
  • Knowledge of working on strategy development
  • Foundation mathematics
  • Be a self-starter and perform with minimum supervision
