A private equity investment fund with over $7b in AUM is looking to hire an investment accountant to join its Fund Accounting team.  The Fund Accounting team is currently responsible for managing the accounting, valuation, reporting and internal control matters for a portfolio of diverse assets.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain books and records of select Investment Funds
• Assist with cash management for the company
• Assist with preparing and disseminating capital call notices, distribution notices and any other investor correspondence to LP
• Assist with compiling information for the annual audit such as investment and bank confirmations, expense selections, and audit-walkthrough request
• Assist Controller and accounting team with any other special projects

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years’ experience at a public accounting firm in their financial services group, or a fund administrator 
• Strong academic track record with an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or any other business area
• CPA preferred but not required
