A top-tier Private Markets Fund is looking to hire an Associate to support the Portfolio Management team. This position will report directly to the Director of Portfolio Management.

The Portfolio Management team provides a senior-level analytics and risk management function at the firm, working closely with our investment team members and also partnering with our finance operations, valuations, capital markets and fundraising teams.  The Portfolio Management team leverages our portfolio company data to identify risks, opportunities, and assess the general health of our portfolio for our senior level Portfolio Committee.  The team also leverages this data for internal and external reporting, including directly with investors. The generalist role will have a broad overall view of the firms 200+ portfolio companies, and within the company  itself. 

Responsibilities

• This role will play a critical part in supporting the quarterly financial planning cycles across Portfolio companies while consolidating information and providing analyses to leadership via Portfolio Committee meetings.
• Work directly with the Capital Partnering team on investor requests and analyses.
• Prepare and own daily and weekly capital market reporting distributed across the firm.
• Lead semi-annual external reporting preparation to Investors.
• You will be the Portfolio Management business partner across the firm working with Investment, Marketing, Legal, Accounting, Finance, and Capital Partnering professionals on portfolio requests.
• Use data to architect metrics, solve problems, and influence executive decision-making.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to drive scalable analysis and insight.
• Drive adoption of tools and processes across the firm.
