Display a thorough understanding of the firm's investment offerings and an understanding of how these solutions compare to those of its competitors.
Ensure that clients are well informed and knowledgeable about the performance of the assets they have entrusted to the firms’s investment team.
Assist in responding to ad-hoc and recurring client requests (e.g., DDQs, exposure reports)
Assist in update marketing materials, including monthly commentary, fund decks, risk reports and ad-hoc slide creation.
Provide client & market perspectives, as well as feedback.
Travel to meet current and prospective clients.
The successful candidate must be a high energy contributor, have a positive attitude and be results oriented professional. They must be able to operate as a member of a team in a fast paced and performance-based environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are critical. He/she will be a credible representative of the firm at the highest level of client interaction, with the ability to articulate investment processes to a diverse audience of investment decision- makers.
He/she must show a level of entrepreneurship and be excited in assisting in the development of a growing organization.
The successful candidate is likely to come from a 1) consultant and is looking to transition to business development or 2) an IR/BD role, but is looking for more independence and a desire to advance in their career. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in the structured credit markets and covering drawdown credit vehicles.
