The Direct Lending Team seeks to hire a Vice President to serve as a key member of the firm's Direct Lending Portfolio Management team which focuses on monitoring direct lending portfolio companies, liability management across the platform, valuations, portfolio level risk and performance attribution analysis, public company reporting requirements, and overall business management processes. This role will play a key part in supporting and growing fund finance function for the Direct Lending team. In addition, the Vice President will have significant interaction with key senior management internally as well as growing external exposure to key parties including investors, lenders, ratings agencies and third-party valuation firms. The Vice President will develop both their business management acumen and credit skills in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
Assist in the structuring, negotiation and implementation of various facility including (i) capital call facilities, (ii) hybrid facilities, (iii) NAV facilities and (iv) securitizations for the broad array of private and public funds and separately managed accounts managed by the firm's Direct Lending business
Proactive management of the various credit facilities by tracking the facility’s borrowing bases, credit line triggers and covenants compliance.
Collaborate with other members of Direct Lending team to understand potential weaknesses in the portfolio and forecasting potential trigger events and cushion levels within each credit facility.
Help develop and manage relationships with bank and non-bank lenders to the firm's Direct Lending family of funds, including preparing for, and participating in, lender and facility syndication meetings
Work closely with internal stakeholders including Global Technology Solutions, Operations and Fund Management to maintain and enhance a database of key investment metrics (both position-level and company/fund-level)
Ensure accurate and timely completion of various reporting requirements for key investors, lender partners and ratings agencies
Perform analysis of key investment valuations, issues and risks and assist with communicating results to various internal and external stakeholders
Working with cross platform teams to facilitate closing/funding of new and existing investments
Various fundraising and investor relationship projects as the business continues to grow

Education & Certificates
Bachelor’s degree required
Professional Experience
Minimum of 4+ years of at a top tier investment bank, law firm or asset manager, preferably in the private credit space.
Strong experience in the fund finance industry
Ideal candidate will have diversity of thought, natural quantitative and analytical skills, strong ambition, self-motivation and excellent communication skills
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience managing large data sets a plus
Comfort with analyzing legal documents including credit agreements, LPAs and knowledge of loan securitizations is a plus
