A global leader in media, entertainment, and technology is seeking a Senior Director of International Tax Reporting and Compliance for their New York Office.

The Senior Director will lead the international tax team, focusing on FDII, GILTI, Subpart F, §861 allocations and FTC, §163j, withholding taxes, BEAT, and PTEP calculations. Additionally, this role includes oversight of the IFRS tax provision consolidation for several hundred foreign affiliates and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee US international tax matters for compliance and reporting, including FDII, GILTI, Subpart F, and more.
• Responsible for consolidating the IFRS tax provision and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
• Report to the Vice President – Tax Reporting and Compliance, offering high visibility and impact to senior management.
• Lead and mentor a team of 10 in the International group, covering various compliance issues and US tax technical analysis.
• Review and analyze international tax compliance for Federal Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 1118, 5713, 8992, and 8993.
• Implement and manage automated processes and solutions, aiming for process efficiencies.
• Support tax controversy teams with international tax issues.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in international tax, with a focus on leadership and executive-level communication.
• Comprehensive understanding of international tax compliance, reporting, and strategy.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a significant team within a complex organizational structure.
• Strong analytical skills, with an emphasis on tax legislation and financial reporting standards.
