Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including related city and state reports and filings
Analyze previously filed tax returns for optimization or refund opportunities
Work with small businesses and their owners to establish best practices that will allow them to operate in a tax advantageous way
Research tax matters and present solutions in a clear, concise and professional manner
Create tax models and guidelines, specifically focusing on equity compensation, and S-Corp/LLC operations (tax estimation, reasonable salary, formation, and more)
We are looking for someone with:
2-4 years experience with S corporation, partnership, and individual income tax preparation and planning
A CPA license and degree in Accounting / Taxation
Extensive experience setting up and working with multiple aspects of small businesses: bookkeeping, payroll, asset management, and tax preparation
The ability to break down complex processes to simplify and optimize them
