A regional financial institution with approximately $60+ billion in assets and more than 200 branches and commercial banking offices across the country is looking to hire an operational IT risk management analyst to join its internal audit / finance team. The team is currently responsible for the identification, assessment, and monitoring of IT risks across the bank’s operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of IT risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Conduct analysis of financial and non-financial data to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks to the bank’s IT operations.
• Develop and implement IT risk assessment methodologies and processes to support the identification and assessment of risks.
• Conduct regular review of IT risk metrics and analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the design and implementation of validation testing for IT risk management policies and procedures.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support the bank’s IT risk management activities.

Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of experience in IT Risk, Risk Assurance, IT Audit or IT Governance, preferably from a public accounting, consulting, or a financial services firm. 
• Financial services / banking experience preferred.
• CPA or CISA helpful, but not preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Open to sitting in either NJ or NYC office.
